Edward J. Goode II is the author of the book "Audacity", and advises with a renewed hope you can slowly begin to put the pieces of your life back together.
Born in Washington, DC, and raised in PG County, Maryland, Eddie Goode is an author, speaker, and dedicated father. With a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Social Sciences from Virginia State University (VSU), Eddie excelled both academically and athletically. As a team captain for two years, he earned All-Conference honors, establishing himself as one of the best defensive backs in the CIAA.

Eddie's career journey includes working in Virginia's Bureau of Prisons system, where he served as a Corrections Treatment Specialist and Corrections Officer. Today, he supervises mental health counseling and case management for individuals of all ages, helping others navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

As the founder of Goode Mindset Consulting LLC, Eddie is dedicated to helping individuals cultivate a mindset of strength, resilience, and personal growth. His approach fosters mental clarity, empowers clients to overcome adversity, and provides tools to transform their lives through courage, persistence, and forgiveness.

Eddie is also a sought-after motivational speaker, covering a range of impactful topics such as self-development, societal reintegration, mental health, and fatherhood. As a mentor and youth football coach, he is passionate about shaping the next generation. He resides in Richmond, Virginia, where he cherishes quality time with his family, especially his son, Donavan.
